Probably the fastest-growing shade tree. Weeping Willows grow as much as eight to ten feet a year! Has slender, graceful drooping branches and fine, narrow, blue-green leaves that change to a rich golden color in autumn. Its handsome bark makes this tree a showpiece in winter after the leaves are gone as well as in summer. The weeping willow thrives in moist as well as dry locations. Tolerant of smog and smoke -- it becomes more popular as a specimen tree each year. It's hardy -- fast-growing -- carefree. These are nice 1 1/2-3' nursery-grown trees.
